2002, The Illustrious Theatre Company presented its first performance at the
Warwick Valley Winery, a one night
presentation of a staged reading of a new play, “Nowhere Else To Go But Out”.
Despite the weather, and that we were completely unknown as a theatre company,
the performance sold out! Taking this to be a good omen, the company boldly
dove in, and almost five years later we now produce successful indoor
and outdoor seasons at the Winery. The ITC has been fortunate to have drawn
numerous talented actors, designers, technicians, directors, and playwrights
to our company from the tri-state area. We wish to thank you, our audience,
for supporting us in fulfilling our dream of bringing theatre of high artistic
quality to the region.
